AC Auto Body has been in business since 1977 and is family owned and operated by Anthony Ceraso, a New Canaan resident.
AC Auto Body & Mechanical Service started off as a small 4 car shop in Mt.
Vernon, NY, where Anthony grew up.
With hard work and focus on building the future of his collision repair business, the need came to expand and purchase additional buildings to accommodate the rapid growth.

Our new fleet of towing vehicles includes flatbed tow trucks and winch-out service.
If you are unable to get your car to us because it doesn't run, our tow trucks are available 24 hours a day to assist.
Our fleet is well-equipped for any roadside situation.
If your vehicle needs any major auto body or mechanical repairs and is not in driving condition, one of our tow trucks will be sent out to retrieve it immediately.
As an added convenience we can even arrange for a rental car to be made available to you!

Did you know, you can have your vehicles emissions tested 90 days before its scheduled due date and still retain its current (month and day) due date?
This should allow you to plan well in advance for your vehicle's test and avoid any last minute rush.
However, having your vehicle tested MORE than 90 days prior to its due date, will make the next scheduled due date 2 years from the date it was tested.
Some vehicle owners choose this option if they wish to adjust an inconvenient test date.
In the event of a failed Emissions Test, you have 60 calendar days from the initial "Fail" test to have your vehicle's emission problems repaired and re-tested.
This should allow you to plan well in advance for your vehicle's test and avoid any last minute rush.
