Before any of our towbars are made available to the market, we ensure the safety and integrity of the design by putting the bar through a series of structural, force and load tests past the point of failure.
This allows us to properly rate each towbar and ensure each design meets the ADR 62/02 requirements.
Each TAG Towbar is affixed with a unique Rating Label which indicates the Maximum Ball Load (B) and Trailer Weight (A) the towbar has been tested and rated to, as well as the corresponding Lug and the Batch Number of the towbar.
This allows us to properly rate each towbar and ensure each design meets the ADR 62/02 requirements.
