Drumhellers Towing & Recovery
When you're in need of a tow, you want it handled quickly and professionally, by somebody with experience. Drumheller's Towing & Recovery offers speedy and reliable auto services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Having been in this business for over 50 years, we've dealt with all shapes and sizes of towing situations. We are a preferred provider for AAA.

Our company is family-owned and family-operated, and a phone call to us will always connect you to a human dispatcher-never an automated answering service. Our trained and certified workforce serves the cities of Waynesboro, Staunton and Charlottesville as well as the counties of Augusta, Albemarle, Nelson, Rockingham and Rockbridge. When you call Drumheller's Towing & Recovery, you will always talk to a live dispatcher, never to a machine.

Thank you for making a very scary situation easier and for getting my son back on the road safely! I appreciate you! I have used the great folks at Drumheller's many a time and am always impressed by their timeliness, knowledge, and professionalism.
Services
One has to wonder if, when Ray and Mary Alice opened their first Esso station in Fishersville, VA in 1967, they would have been able to predict the growth and evolution their business would see over the next 50 years.
As it changed shape over the decades from full-service Esso/Exxon station to Ugly Duckling vehicle rental service to used-car sales lot and more, one strength of our company made itself apparent: towing.
In 2007, we doubled down on what we do best, reducing our services to full-service towing, recovery and roadside assistance.
Drumheller's offers several other services in addition to our quick and reliable 24/7 towing.
We carry Deka batteries, which are manufactured at a family-run facility in Pennsylvania where 98% of returned cores are recycled.
Batteries carry a three-year full-replacement warranty against manufacturer's defects and an additional three-year discounted warranty.
Whatever position your car may be in, chances are that Drumheller has what it takes to retrieve your car with our state-of-the-art wheel lift and rollback service.
If there's a "no parking" sign in the lot you were last parked in and it has a phone number on it, call that number.
If there is no sign and you still believe you have been towed, call the nearest police department's non-emergency phone number.
Police departments keep records of all tows within their municipalities.
All fees for impound recovery must be paid in cash only.
Retrieval hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with after-hours pickup available for an additional fee.
If somebody has parked a vehicle illegally on your private property, you are likely well within your rights to have it removed at the owner's expense.
Drumheller's Towing & Recovery holds two auto salvage auctions a year, one in late spring and the other in the early fall.
Towed and abandoned vehicles that have not been claimed will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The auctions are open to the general public and there is no admission charge.
