The Philadelphia Independent Towers And Salvors Association is an organization that is set up to ensure the consumer only the best from the towing industry and its members. These towing companys and members that are affiliated with this association are legitimate, hard working, and honest business, who meet a criteria of excellence.
If your company would like to become a member of the Philadelphia Independent Towers & Salvors Association, you must meet certain qualifications which a are code of ethics in conducting business.You must hold all of the proper licenses which are required for your business by the City or your county. No members will be eligible if they have any L & I violations for inappropriate business transactions.
The association has the right to revoke any companys membership if they have been involved in any violations that would discredit our members and the association. Membership includes local tow companies, body shops, outside companies, and salvage yards. As a member you will have access to lawyers who have experience with towing, salvage, and business, (at reasonable rate).

WEDNESDAY, ,,,,J une 15th we went into court asking for an injunction to stop bill 100365 and to remove the power of the mayor to initiate a memoradem of understanding between the City and the Parking Authority.
The City and the Attorneys agreed that their would be no memorandmem from the mayor, until they have approval from the state.
The Judge issued a court order which we will post in the next few days.
What we need to keep on fighting this cause is donations and new members.
If each member can get two more companys to join it will help.

P.I.T.S.A. advisory board supported bill #120719 pertaining to parking lot tows, removing tickets and replacing with pictures etc.
At this time we are presently in the process of working along with Councilmen Jim Kenney to give our input that would be fair to both the towing industry and to the general public.

Monopoly of goverment agencys has no place in the private industry.
Too many emercency service workers and police officers are in harms way everyday snd being taken out of injured.
Smith worked for HJ Towing & Recovery of Landisburg, PA.
Roque was hospitalized in critical condition and one of his leg had to be amputated.
One of his legs was severed and the other was broken in at least seven places.
