Services
We began with a one ton Chevy wrecker working out of our BP gas station in December of 1972, located at the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and East Main Street in Denville, NJ.
In 1977 the BP station was changed to a Getty station, which most people remember as McCarter's Getty.
In 1992 McCarter's opened a second location in Rockaway, located at 74 Cobb Street.
At this location, we provided truck repairs and housed our towing operation.
McCarter's has since moved away from the gas station and repair business and focuses on towing, recovery, and transportation services.

McCarter's Towing provides equipment and machinery transport using our flatbeds, 50 ton low-bed trailer and 35 ton hydraulic landoll trailer.
We also have a temperature controlled reefer trailer for storing and transporting food items and a 53 foot dry van trailer.
One of our newest services includes our truck drive away and delivery program.
We will drive and deliver your truck to a dealer or repair shop of your choice, so that warrantee or minor repairs can be completed.
This will free up your employees and let them remain working on your companies tasks.
